Study conducted with patient during the treatment with the DOT, Equinox and eCO2
This is a presentation by Robert J. Troell, M.D., M.A.C.S. on Fri, 2/10/2017 at the 2017 Annual Scientific Meeting of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery which took place in San Diego, Ca.
In an attempt to address some of these disadvantages of traditional carbon dioxide laser skin resurfacing, fractional photothermolysis was described in 2004. The fractional photothermolysis technology results in laser thermally treated target areas surrounded by intervening areas of heated, minimally damaged tissue.
Learning Objectives:
To understand laser physics differences in skin resurfacing devices to optimize aesthetic outcomes and minimize complications and discomfort.
